Hi I am Maxine Buchanan and I am a 53 years old upcoming entrepreneur who recently started a small business to assist myself, my daughter and my grandchild. I lost my job due to COVID-19 and started selling some pastries (cookies, cakes etc.) from home but I am unable to do so successfully because I am in need of a refrigerator to store my products and also for my personal use. Without the refrigerator, I am losing and have lost a lot from this business because the goods sometimes expire, melt, break or spoil due to the heat and I have no choice but to dispose of them or give them away. I am also in need of a small four burner stove so I could do my own baking but getting the fridge will go a long way, so that’s my main focus right now.

Despite my health conditions of suffering from diabetes and arthritis in my knee, I am not used to sitting down and not working so I just need to do something for myself, in order to make some money to contribute to my grandson’s surgery. I used to own a fridge but it got burned and I tried fixing it several times but it just stopped working all together after a while and I am not in a position to buy one now.

So please I am asking for the public’s help to purchase a refrigerator and a stove so I can continue my small business. The costs for both appliances can be covered with US$1000 but any assistance will be greatly appreciated even if it is to purchase only one of the items. Thank you.
