Story
Rafael was born in Kingston Jamaica in 2015 with the very rare orthopedic condition call Tibial Hemimelia which affects his right leg.
Tibial Hemimelia affects only one child in every million children born around the world. Rafael is said to have a mild version of the condition which can be corrected via corrective surgeries and limb lengthening rather than the old way of amputation.
Treatment is available at the Paley Institute in Palm Beach Florida.
