Empowering Female, Youth, and At-Risk Farmers in Jamaica

The Resilient Farmer Program (RFP) is an agricultural initiative in Jamaica that empowers female, youth and at-risk farmer in Jamaica by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed in agriculture. We offer disaster assistance to help farmers recover from the devastating effects of natural disasters as well as free training on sustainable and natural farming practices. We also include the organic biofertilizers, biostimulants and pest control products they need to support their environmental sustainability efforts. The RFP also partners with local schools across Jamaican to develop educational gardens that foster an understanding of soil microbiology, plant biology, and sustainable farm profitability. Our goal is equitable access to market and support for the most at-risk members of our population while fostering a love for agriculture and self-sufficiency in future generations.

RFP also offers a unique partnership opportunity to:

1- Cultivate in-demand crops and livestock for market focusing on natural poultry cultivation, establishment of neem orchards, and more.

2- Implement sustainable practices to recycle agricultural wastes into value-added products, reduce production costs, and protect the environment.

3- Marketing support to improve access to local markets with an eye to building export capacity.
