The Longpond Community Center in Christiana has long been a beacon of hope and unity for our people. However, since the devastation caused by Hurricane Ivan in 2005, it has sat dormant, leaving a void in the heart of our community. We now have the opportunity to breathe life back into this beloved space and, in doing so, revitalize Christiana and bring hope to our youth and families.

Our Vision: We aim to transform the Longpond Community Center into a state-of-the-art multi-purpose facility that will serve as a hub for education, recreation, and community building. This will not only uplift our youth but also reduce crime by offering constructive opportunities for learning and growth. Our goal is to foster a strong, united community where every child and adult can thrive.

The revitalized center will include:

• A modern computer lab for learning and research, enabling our children to stay ahead in a digital world.
• Printing services to assist with school projects, job applications, and more.
• Tutoring programs for students needing extra academic support.
• Gaming areas to provide a safe and fun environment for recreational activities.
• Football tournaments and other sports programs to bring back the competitive spirit and foster teamwork, discipline, and physical health.
