For centuries, athletes have enjoyed the prestige of the Olympic Games. Until recently, however, performing artists had no equivalent global platform. This gap has been addressed through the creation of the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA)-recognized as the one and only “Official Talent Olympics” for aspiring performers and entertainers. Now in its 28th year, WCOPA has grown into the premier international talent and modeling competition, held annually in or around Hollywood, the entertainment capital of the world. Much like the Olympics, only invited and qualified competitors-known as WORLDSTARS— represent their countries and compete for gold in this fiercely contested event.
