Carline McIntosh,a mother of 3,was providing for her children until a cancerous brain tumor disrupted her life. For the past 2 years, her medical condition has robbed her of her sight in the right eye and significantly reduce the ability to see in the left eye.

The 39 yr old has done 4 surgeries since 2019 to remove both tumor and the infected parts of her skull and is still faced with significant risks.

She is now seeking help from the public to purchase a shunt to remove the fluid from her brain. This procedure will be done at KPH, on the 19th of July 2021. While the surgery is free she is required to purchase the shunt of a cost of $75,000 JMD. She is also seeking help to do a bone graph on her skull. This surgery will cost more than $1 million JMD. This surgery is called 3D cranioplasty reconstruction of the bone flap which was removed due to infection on her skull.

In total, miss McIntosh is seeking the assistance of the public to raise approximately $12,000 USD or $1,700,000 JMD.

Meanwhile McIntosh is forced to wear a bicycle helmet to protect her head as part of her skull was removed. She is now unable to work and is completely dependent on the assistance of family members and friends.

She now resides in Kingston with her sister as she is unable to travel. Doctors have ordered her to no travel as constant jerking may cause additional damage to the brain.
