‘Children are the heritage of the Lord’- Psalm 127:3. 

Imagine being a child in the hospital-away from home, friends and family. Forced to socialize with walls and stuck hearing the pleas for help from those around you. A sadness forced upon you, with days so long that uncertainty of what is to come trails behind you. 

This is the reality for many children. 

We believe that a simple act of acknowledgement can be a stimulus with a response being upliftment, even for a moment. A simple toy can make a difference, reshaping fear into hope and comfort, and sadness into joy. 

Youths in Real Life Jamaica is striving to generate a large donation in the form of gift baskets and toys to the Alexander Bustamante Children’s Hospital. The gift baskets will be given to the doctors as a token of appreciation for their restless work and the toys to the children to bring joy in a time that may be frightening for them.
