ShawnCreated: Empowering Jamaican Youths Through Tech

Hi everyone, my name is Rushawn Campbell, a computer science student here in Jamaica. I am reaching out because I am passionate about using technology to empower young people in our beautiful island nation.

We all know the struggle. Amazing ideas for businesses get stuck because creating a website or mobile app is simply too expensive. This is a major roadblock for young entrepreneurs, stifling innovation and hindering their dreams.

That’s where ShawnCreated comes in.

I envision ShawnCreated not just as a software development startup, but as a youth development platform. We want to offer affordable, high-quality website and mobile app creation for other startups. This will give young Jamaicans the digital presence they need to launch their businesses and take their dreams to the next level.

But I can’t do this alone.

Here’s where your help comes in.

Funds raised will allow us to:

Spread the word: We need strong marketing to connect with young entrepreneurs and let them know about our services.

Equip our team: Laptops are essential to build these applications. With your help, we can create a small team of passionate individuals who share our vision of empowering youth.

Build a safe space: A physical co-working facility will be a central hub for young minds to connect, brainstorm, and get the support they need. This safe space will be a beacon of opportunity, offering guidance and mentorship away from negative influences.

Investing in ShawnCreated isn’t just about developing apps – it’s about developing futures.

Jamaica’s youth deserve a chance to thrive. By providing affordable digital solutions and a supportive environment, we can inspire a generation of young entrepreneurs and steer them away from negativity.

Together, let’s turn dreams into reality.

Any amount you can contribute will make a difference. Your support will not only help launch ShawnCreated, but also empower the future of Jamaica.

Thank you for believing in our vision!
