My name is Julecia Jarrett, and I am a mother from Westmoreland, Jamaica. My heart is broken as I share that my home was destroyed by a devastating fire, taking away the place that my 11-year-old son and I called home.

In just a few moments, everything changed. The walls that protected us, the belongings we treasured, and the memories we created were gone. Watching our home disappear was one of the most painful experiences I have ever faced.

As a mother, my greatest wish is simple: to give my son a safe place to sleep, a place where he feels protected, and a place where we can begin making new memories. Right now, we are trying to pick up the pieces and find hope after this heartbreaking loss.
