Going on a mission trip gives you a chance to learn about a new cultures while making an impact on a community. As the band leader, I will also be accompanied by the wife (Captain) and my two children (pannists) of the steel orchestra. We will be travelling to the beautiful country of Guyana from July 10th to August 3rd 2023, where we will be hosting steelpan camps at various districts throughout the country. Furthermore, we will be performing at concerts, interacting and teaching via the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago, the steelpan to the local people of all ages at camps and churches, and assisting them where is steel orchestra can.

Music, as you may know, breaks down the boundaries of culture and language and allows people to connect with each other. We anticipate that our camps will engage a lot of people that will have their first exposure to the Gospel and the mercy and love of Christ; Seeing God’s work.

Before we leave to go on this mission trip, there are 3 things we have to do.

Secondly, we will undergo training to help me prepare spiritually and mentally for this amazing experience.

We need people who will be our prayer partners during the actual trip. By praying for us as we prepare to leave they will have a direct impact on our  ministry. Prayer is vital to everything in life, and this trip is no exception.

Thirdly, we need to raise financial support. The cost of the trip is $24,000 TTD ($3,538.85 US Dollars).
