Sandy, a remarkable mother of four who has faced extraordinary challenges despite the setbacks life has thrown at her remains an inspiration to everyone who knows her. Now, we have an opportunity to come together and make a real difference in her life.

Sandy is a resilient woman who has faced unimaginable adversity. She lost one of her legs to complications from having an Arterial Embolism (bloodclot in the leg) a year ago in 2022. This life-changing tragedy flipped Sandy’s world upside down, but she refused to let it define or limit her goals. Then, earlier this year 2023, tragedy struck again when she lost her other leg. Her children have always been her greatest drive as a loving mother, and she is determined to be the best role model for them despite the fact that she is now a double amputee.

Prosthetic legs offer Sandy the chance to regain her independence, mobility, and overall quality of life. They will enable her to perform everyday tasks, such as walking, running, and playing with her children, with ease and confidence. These prosthetic legs are not only a physical aid but also a gateway to a more inclusive and fulfilling life.

Unfortunately, the cost of prosthetic legs is substantial, and Sandy is unable to bear this financial burden alone. Despite her best efforts, the expenses associated with raising three children and managing day-to-day living costs have made it nearly impossible for her to save enough for the prosthetic legs she needs to improve her mobility.
