Short Story
Boombox Free Flow Fridays is one of Jamaica’s latest and most entertaining weekly event held every Friday at Red Hills Boulevard. It is aimed at providing a platform for up-and-coming Jamaican artistes to expose their innate talents as well as providing a space for established artistes to keep the culture and music alive, as well as being an influence on the rising artistes.
Boombox has been trending for some time now and its CEO, General B, who is also one of Jamaica’s veteran in the music business has conceptualize this genius idea and since then it has given rise to many new artistes, some of whom have recently performed at Jamaica’s biggest summer reggae festival, Reggae Sumfest 2022.
We are seeking to raise an estimate of USD $20000 to assist with the weekly expenses, resources and maintenance and possible expansion of Boombox Fridays in order to continue providing a gateway for our youths to expose their musical talents and in turn exposing our rich Jamaican culture.
Thank you in advance for any contribution, we will appreciate it.

General B along with his team for Boombox Fridays would love for this event to continue providing opportunities and opening doors for many ghetto youths, whose dreams are to pursue a career in music. However, in order to keep this event alive, they need help from all our natives in and around the diaspora who know the impact that our Jamaican reggae and dancehall culture has on the world and would love for us to continue making our stamp globally.
