Joan Robinson who is sixty and from the community of Newell in St. Elizabeth suffered a fall about a month ago resulting in a broken hip that requires surgical intervention at the University hospital for a total hip replacement. Joan’s situation was compounded when her roof blew off during the passage of Hurricane Beryl. Unfortunately, Joan is currently unemployed and unable to cover the medical expenses, therefore, she is humbling appealing to the public for their kind assistance in raising the necessary funds to cover her medical expenses.
