While riding his bicycle downhill, he lost control and collided face-ward into a parked car, preventing him from going over the cliff. He subsequently became unconscious after the fall and sustained multiple injuries, including a broken bone, split tongue, and the loss of several front teeth.

Devaun has been treated and stabilized from his injuries and his now bedridden. He will require surgery on his lip and dentures to replace the missing teeth.

This near-death experience has taken a toll on his emotional well-being, leaving him feeling depressed, traumatized and concerned about his return to a normal life. He will also need counseling to help him cope with these challenges.

We kindly ask for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Any supportโ€”financial, emotional, or words of encouragementโ€”would mean the world to Devaun and assist him on his journey to recovery.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help Devaun heal and regain his confidence, and life as a Collegeman.

Devaun aspires to be an Army Officer.

I will definitely contribute as soon as I get some funds. This young man’s situation really saddens me. Devaun is my son’s classmate and this accident could have happen to anyone of the young men. However, I believe this “Call to Support” would be more effective if you really tell his story.
Eg. Devaun is a promising Lower Sixth Form student of Jamaica College who fell from a bicycle over an embankment. He was unconscious, broke a finger and lost some teeth. Devaun will require dentures and plastic surgery on his lip. He is feeling down about his appearance and will need counselling etc, etc

So sorry this happened to my little cousin. He had a bright future ahead of him and I am praying that God will help him to achieve a full recovery very soon and that he will return to his normal promising life activities. Keeping his mom, dad and immediate family in prayer. He is young and strong and and will overcome. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
