Hello, my name is Abiathar Neita, a 26-year-old first-generation undertaker, and I have been provisionally accepted to pursue the Associate of Science in Funeral Service & Mortuary Science at Montego Bay Community College (2025/2026), and I am seeking your help.
This is my second year in a row being accepted, and I have been applying faithfully since 2021. Each year, the only thing holding me back has been funding. I don’t want to lose another year, so I am starting this campaign early to raise the resources I need in time to begin in September 2026.
My story has been shared in both the Jamaica Observer and The Gleaner, where I was called the “Gentle Giant of Grief” because of my commitment to serving families with dignity during times of loss.
