Short Story
This campaign seeks to gain financial assistance for the betterment of two young, innocent children who are currently living in a very deplorable state. With nowhere else to go, they are forced to sleep in a wet bed whenever it rains as their roof leaks, the back door to their house is unable to close and the window to their room is covered with a piece of cloth as it is currently shattered.
It’s painful to even imagine a 3-month old and 6-year-old living under these circumstances but sadly, it is the reality for these two children and their mom, Abby-Gayle Rose. To ‘add more salt to their wounds,’ most times they have to go to sleep on an empty stomach or both breastfeed from their mom who sometimes only had water to drink for the entire day.
Abby’s desire is to build at least a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom and a kitchen dwelling for herself and her daughters; along with providing their other immediate necessities (food, clothing, school supplies etc.). With your help, she is seeking to raise an estimate of JMD 300,000.00 to offset these costs.
Thank you.

In an interview with the Jamaica Gleaner, their mother describes their situation as โvery, very, very terrible.โย
However, Abby’s faith and belief in the Almighty God allows her to persevere and she believes that the Lord will provide a way out for herself and her two beautiful daughters.
โI am steadfast inna Christ, me hold on to him because if itโs not for him, nothing wouldnโt possible for me right now because to be honest me nuh know weh me woulda be right now.โ

With your help, she is seeking to raise an estimate of JMD 300,000.00 to offset these costs.
“Rose, however, is requesting assistance from the general public in the form of food supplies, clothing and monetary donations to help with sending her older child to school and to be able to make her children feel comfortable. ”
No matter the amount you have to donate Rose expressedย that she would be very grateful for any help she receives, โNuh matter how small it is me always give thanks … because nuff time people out there not even have food to eat and sometimes people from far out, people weh you not even expect come and help me out and me give thanks for it,โ she said.
This campaign was authorized by Abby-Gayle Rose and permitted to be created by Real Helping Hands.
