Hard Working Single Mother Who Fell On Hard Times!
“I’ve always been the person others could count on for help, and I’ve found immense joy in offering my support. However, today, I find myself in a challenging situation where I need help myself. The constant uncertainty has left me apprehensive even to answer phone calls, as every day brings a new challenge that feels insurmountable. Your support would mean the world to me in this difficult time. Until the end of last year, everything seemed to be going according to plan. I was working my 9-5 job, managing partner plans, and even operating a pay day loan business on the side. However, that’s when it all unraveled. I was faced with the terrifying prospect of losing my home, and in a desperate attempt to keep it, I borrowed multiple loans to accumulate the amount required to satisfy the bank’s demands. Then, the unthinkable happened – I lost my job. To make matters even more complicated, some of the people I had partnered with decided to leave Jamaica and embark on a risky journey through the Mexico border to seek a new life in America. This abrupt departure left me shouldering the burden of over 800,000 JMD in debts because everyone wanted their money back. The weight of these financial and emotional burdens has taken a toll on me. I haven’t been sleeping or eating properly, and to make matters worse, my two precious daughters, who I have been raising on my own, are about to start school in just a week. I don’t even have the means to provide them with basic school supplies. I’ve reached a point where I have no choice but to ask for help. It’s a humbling experience, and I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t believe it was the only way to secure a future for my daughters. I want to give them a chance at a better life, a life where they can pursue their dreams and reach their full potential.
