Kareem is Barbadian born with a life long love for horses. His dedication, time and patience shows in how any horse that has come to his care has rid their own fears and worries and been permitted the space and environment to be safe, be a horse and be loved. Majority of these horses are ex racers who more often than not have had a bad start to life and if not for Kareem’s intervention may have fallen to the hands of un educated persons as we see many times in Barbados, mistreated, put to sleep or ultimately death due to mistreatment and malnutrition.
Each case is different. His horses learn to be horses again, live as a herd and their care is his ultimate priority even in the hardest of times.
