Feeding of the Five Thousand (5000) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help to change the world by changing individual lives. We all know the importance of food to human survival and we all know for a fact that there are many persons here in our island, Jamaica, that go to bed hungry every night. Feeding of the Five Thousand (5000) was founded by Jordan Bennett 9 years ago when he was only 17 years old, as he had a deep desire for helping needy persons. within the last 9 years we have delivered over 30,000 box lunches to the homeless and less fortunate persons all across Jamaica. We all venture into other service projects such as back to school treats for many schools and communities, we have done many grocery bag drives, we also adopted School of Hope with the hope to raise the awareness of the different disabilities kids are facing here in Jamaica and how best we can come together to help eliminate the stigmas that comes along with it so that they can be able to have a fair change at employment.
