Today, I come to you with a heartfelt plea for support in a cause that is very close to my heart. I am a product of West Rural St. Andrew, a beautiful but underserved community where many families still lack access to basic necessities like running water in their homes. Moreover, the children in this area often miss out on the simple joys of childhood, like receiving a toy or experiencing the magic of meeting Santa Claus.

In West Rural St. Andrew, there are families who are living without the fundamental resource of running water. Imagine the daily struggles they face, from hygiene concerns to the time-consuming effort required just to obtain clean water for cooking and drinking. In this day and age, this situation is simply unacceptable.

Additionally, many children in our community have never had the opportunity to enjoy the magic of the holiday season. While Santa’s village and a picture with Santa Claus may be a common experience for some, for our kids, it remains an unattainable dream.
