Hello! Hello! My name is Damion Stewart. What’s happening right now? I am now becoming a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).   I want to share with you my testimony of how God has changed my life during the Discipleship Training School (DTS). For my outreach, I went to West Africa, in The Gambia.  God showed me clearly how the Deaf community, Wow, they were hungry for connection and relationship.  Most of The Deaf community were also hungry to hear God’s word. There were even a few that were baptized and were an example to the other Deaf people. Once we were there for a month and half, outreach was finished and we went back to Jamaica. I joined the DBS. What does that look like? I was at Discipleship Bible School, where I worked very hard and was able to study God’s word from Genesis to Revelation. And I got to see who God was from the start to the finish and recognize so much  applied to my life. It was a slow process in the beginning but I began to grow. Before, God showed me I was in the dark, but now He has placed me in the light and is still right beside me. That’s my testimony.   So now, I am planning to become a full-time missionary because I want to support other Deaf people to know God more. Did you know that 98% of Deaf people don’t know God, and there are only 2% of believers. We want to encourage more Deaf people to know who He is his character. That’s my goal in missions .
