My name is Sarah Indarsingh, and I am the Pastry Chef and proud owner of The Rebel Chef, a local modern online dessert shop based in Trinidad. Throughout my journey, I have faced the challenge of limited financial resources. To overcome this, I have sought out free courses and low-cost culinary workshops to continue developing my skills. The support and feedback from my family, friends, and valued clients have been incredible, with many expressing their anticipation of one day visiting my own restaurant. Today, I dare to dream bigger. My ultimate aspiration is to own and operate an all-dessert fine dining restaurant in Trinidad. I envision a place where each dessert takes you on a journey, allowing you to travel the world through taste, texture, and innovation. Additionally, I aim to create workshops where I can share my knowledge and techniques with other aspiring Pastry Chefs, fostering a community of creativity and growth. To turn this dream into reality, I am launching this fundraising campaign. The funds raised will be used to purchase essential equipment for my kitchen built as we speak.
