From Aruba to Spain: 6 U19 Players Chasing a Historic Dream 🇦🇼⚽

A Small Island. A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity.

We are six U19 players from Deportivo Nacional — Francesco, Gianni, Kyziondrick, Joan, Benjamin, and Antonio — and we have been given an opportunity that means more than words can describe.

In 2026, we will travel to Spain to compete in the prestigious MIC Football Tournament, one of the most respected and competitive youth football tournaments in the world. This is a tournament where elite academies, future professionals, and top international talents meet on one stage.

For many players around the world, opportunities like this are common.

For six young athletes from a small island like Aruba, this is history.

We will be among the first U19 representatives from Aruba to compete at this level — proudly carrying our flag, our families, our club, and our community with us.

This Is Bigger Than Football

Football has taught us discipline.

It has taught us sacrifice.

It has taught us resilience.

We train under the sun after school. We balance responsibilities. We push through injuries, fatigue, and doubt. Not because it is easy — but because we believe in something bigger than ourselves.

Our journey is also connected to the **Erasmus+ DiscoverEU initiative, combining sport with education, cultural exchange, and personal growth. This experience will allow us to grow not only as athletes, but as young men exposed to different cultures, ideas, and international competition.

We are not just traveling to play games.

We are traveling to learn.

To grow.

To represent Aruba with pride.

Our Goal: $3000

To make this dream possible, we are raising $3000 to help cover:

🏨 Accommodation

🍽️ Meals

🚍 Local transportation

⚽ Tournament-related expenses

For some, $3000 may seem small.

For us, it is the bridge between staying home and stepping onto an international stage.

Every euro donated brings us one step closer to competing against the best and proving that talent from Aruba belongs in Europe.

Why Your Support Matters

When you donate, you are not just supporting six players.

You are:

Investing in youth development

Supporting discipline and hard work

Encouraging international education

Showing that Aruba stands behind its young athletes

You are sending a message that dreams from small islands are just as powerful as dreams from big countries.

We promise to represent our island with humility, passion, and determination. We will carry Aruba in our hearts every minute we are on that field.

Be Part of This Historic Moment

Years from now, when we look back at this experience, we will remember the people who believed in us.

We will remember that our community helped us take this step.

No donation is too small. Whether it is $5 or $50, you are part of our journey.

Help us show Europe what Aruba is made of.

Help us make history. 🇦🇼⚽🔥

With gratitude and determination,

Francesco, Gianni, Kyziondrick, Joan, Benjamin, and Antonio
