Dear Prospective Sponsors, My name is Cailey Francis, I am an 18 year old first year student at the Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica. I am the middle child in a single parent home. My father after 8 years suffering with a brain tumor, passed in 2016, leaving my mom to single handedly by the grace of God care for my siblings and I. In September 2023 we took on the challenge of seeing me fulfil my dreams of becoming a Multimedia Specialist. Through the help of sponsors we have managed to finance the first semester and I have so far been doing fairly well in my first 5 courses of study. Moving forward to the upcoming 2nd semester will require my family to offset payment for 18-credits to the tune of approximately JMD223,795.00. In addition to the university fees, I will be needing a suitable laptop to successfully continue my studies. A laptop is an essential device that is required for me to complete my course of study in the computer information systems field. Based on the requirements, the courses includes areas of focus to include but not limited to, coding, programming, creating and designing of computer applications. This laptop will require at least a 64GB|2TB SSD Capacity. Based on reviews done a laptop with the required capacity would run me approximately USD1500 / JMD241,500.
