Short Story
Neurodiversity JA is anย organization dedicated to raising awareness onย Neurodiversity in Jamaica and providing resources for those living with Neurodivergence.
Neurodiverse individuals are those whose brains and nervous systems work differently from the “norm.” They may experience challenges such as anxiety and depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Tourette Syndrome just to name a few. However, it is important to note that not all people with these conditions will identify as being neurodivergent.
The mission of Neurodiversity JA is twofold: First, we aim to raise awareness on Neurodiversity, and second, we aim to provide support for individuals living with Neurodivergence by providing them with information, products and an online community where they can share experiences.
