Para mi último sueño en Europa/For my last dream in Europe

Hola, vivo en Costa Rica.

Por circunstancias ajenas a mi voluntad, nunca pude recibir los documentos ni las becas necesarias a través de la universidad para realizar un intercambio en otro país.

Mi sueño era conseguir esta oportunidad (pasar al menos tres meses en el extranjero con los tiquetes de avión cubiertos) y posteriormente trabajar para dicha institución.

Sin embargo, esto NUNCA sucedió.

Con mucho esfuerzo, principalmente dando clases de inglés y japonés, reciclando y dándoles una nueva vida a materiales que tenía en casa, como telas y aparatos, finalmente logré atreverme a comprar tiquetes de avión. PERO TUVE QUE DEJAR ATRÁS MIS METAS LABORALES CON ESTA INSTITUCIÓN.

Durante mi tercer viaje a Japón, fui agredida físicamente por una persona que me golpeó en un hombro donde tengo una lesión desde la niñez.

El motivo fue que estaba tarareando una canción afuera de su casa después de haber salido de un concierto.

Dado que en este país la atención médica es de pago, fue muy difícil para mí afrontar la situación.

Finalmente, recibí protección y me ayudaron a conseguir un lugar donde alojarme. Sin embargo, mi recuperación tras regresar a casa ha sido complicada.

He continuado realizando los mismos trabajos, pero tuve que cancelar un viaje corto a Europa (Inglaterra) que ya tenía pagado.

Por medio de esta plataforma, quisiera solicitar un poquito de ayuda para ver si puedo alcanzar mi meta el próximo año.

Trabajo principalmente desde mi computadora porque me resulta muy práctico.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was never able to receive the necessary paperwork or scholarships through my university to participate in an exchange program in another country.

My dream was to achieve this (spending at least three months abroad with my airfare covered) and then work for that institution.

However, this NEVER happened.

Through great effort (mainly by teaching English and Japanese, recycling, and giving new life to materials I had left over at home, such as fabrics and appliances), I finally managed to take the plunge and buy plane tickets, BUT I HAD TO LEAVE MY CAREER GOALS WITH THIS INSTITUTION BEHIND.

I was physically assaulted during my third trip to Japan.

This happened when someone hit me on the shoulder where I have had an injury since childhood.

The reason was that I was humming a song outside their house after leaving a concert.

Since healthcare in this country is paid for, it was very difficult for me to manage the situation.

In the end, I received protection and was helped with finding a roof over my head. However, my recovery after returning home has been complicated.

I have continued doing the same kind of work, but

I had to cancel a short trip to Europe (England) that I had already paid for.

My idea is to ask for a little help through this platform to see if I can achieve my goal next year.

I mainly work using my computer because I like how practical it is.
