My name is Arlene, and I am reaching out with a humble heart, asking for your help during one of the hardest moments of my life.

Over the past few years, I have survived two earthquakes. Each one left my home more damaged than before. The walls are cracked, my verandah is shifting from its place, and the house now looks like it is slowly sinking. Every day I wake up worried, praying it won’t get worse.

The roof is another painful struggle. After several storms, it is barely holding on — tied down just to keep it from lifting off. The wood is rotting, and I have no proper siding. When it rains, water leaks through, and I have to use buckets and cloths just to protect what little I have.

This is the place I call home, and now I’m watching it fall apart around me.

I am not someone who likes to ask for help, but the truth is…I cannot repair this on my own. The damage is too much, and the cost is far beyond what I can afford. I am afraid that if nothing is done soon, the house may become unsafe to live in.
