Dianne is asking for support on behalf of her dear friend, Roderick Osbourne, a 42-year-old builder and farmer whose life was dramatically changed by a devastating injury.

In August 2023, while working on a construction site, Roderick was struck on the foot by a falling board. At first, the pain seemed manageable, but within weeks, his foot began to swell severely. Despite medical treatment and temporary relief, the swelling and pain returned every time he stood or worked. For nearly two years, Roderick endured cycles of pain, medication, and doctor visits. Eventually, doctors discovered that the veins in his foot were damaged, leading to poor circulation and unbearable suffering.

In June 2025, Roderick underwent a below-the-knee amputation of his left leg.

Before this life-altering event, Roderick was a vibrant, hardworking man. He thrived in construction and ran a flourishing farm filled with hot peppers, bananas, plantains, melons, pumpkins, pineapples, and more. But since the injury and amputation, he has spent all his savings on medical care and is now seeking help to afford a prosthetic leg.
