Hurricane Melissa swept through Jamaica, leaving destruction and heartbreak in its path. Among those affected were my family members in Montego Bay and Trelawny my mother, brothers, sisters, and aunt whose homes were completely destroyed.

What once were warm, welcoming homes are now unrecognizable — roofs gone, walls collapsed, and personal belongings lost to floodwaters. Despite their loss, my family remains strong and hopeful, but they urgently need help to rebuild their lives.
