YPAC (Young People Advocating Change) is a dynamic, youth-led NGO on the frontlines of positively transforming the lives of children and young people across Jamaica. Since our founding in 2013, we have become known as the single most organized and impactful youth group in the country, driving opportunity and brighter futures for thousands.

Through our innovative programs, we are tackling the critical issues facing Jamaican youth head-on:

• Sponsor-A-Child Foundation – Providing care, support and resources for over 2,000 children from destitute situations, giving them a pathway out of poverty. Coupled with these, we have adopted several basic schools, done painting jobs (schools, bus stops, pedestrian crossings etc.);

• Free2Dream Education Program – Assisting over 170 young people who have fallen out of the formal school system, offering free classes and funding exam fees to help them attain the qualifications they need to succeed;

• Help-A-Yute (HAY) Program – Empowering out-of-school youth to start their own small businesses, with a focus on agriculture – equipping the next generation of Jamaican entrepreneurs;

• Monthly feeding program for the homeless and indigents living in our spheres;

• Youth-Led Radio/Podcast – A 100% youth-run platform amplifying the voices and stories of Jamaican youth, creating positive change through media.

Now, as we embark on the next chapter as an official nonprofit organization, we are launching this crucial crowdfunding campaign. We are seeking to raise $56,000 USD to secure our own dedicated premises, necessary license as well as to facilitate the expanding needs of our core programs and emerging programs.
