We’re reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off this fundraiser to help Janice Niles, and we need your help!

Janice has been diagnosed with Cataract. She has been informed that the surgery needs to be done as soon as possible or else she will go blind. She is a retired woman and has no Health Insurance. Janice was able to take a loan which could only afford her to perform the operation in just one eye. It will cost her a total of at least EC$10,000 to pay the doctor bills.

We all love Janice because she has a fierce spirit and inspires so many children and others in our community to be their best. She often gives as much as she can, sacrificing precious time she could be spending with her own family.

The effects of her dwindling eyesight is devastating for her, however. The prognosis, with the surgery, is a 98 percent chance of a full recovery with respect to saving her eyesight.

We can help ease the financial burden and resultant stress that Janice is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire EC$10,000 for her, to pay back the bank loan for the operation done on one eye as well to perform the surgery to the other eye.
